Marenne

Marenne’s debut single Pretty White Dress was succesfully released in summer 2007 and the current band was formed later the same year. Album The Past Prelude was released via in February, 2009.

The Past Prelude is melodic and metallic rock. The dark sounds and intense lyrics lead towards light and Marenne’s beautiful voice remains in the air long after the music.

Marenne line-up is: Marenne (vocals), Zachary Hietala (guitar), Janne Tolsa (keyboards), Hannu Voutilainen (bass) and Tom Rask (drums).

The following musicians have also given their influence for this record: Jukka Jylli (bass), Tuomas Laitinen (acoustic guitar) and backing vocals by Marco Hietala, Tommi Salmela, Jani Hyvärinen, Anssi Stenberg, Petri Kaitamäki and Tuomas Koponen.
